Eden & Emmett

Eden and her good buddy Emmett have had some quality hang-out time in the past couple of months. The picture below was taken on a day when I babysat for Emmett. Eden had some practice being a big sister and was very helpful. Eden and Emmett playing in the tub!

Elijah

While in Illinois over Memorial Day weekend, we got to spend a lof of time with our newest nephew, Elijah. He's such a cutie-pie, and SO happy!

Memorial Day Fun

Our family drove to Illinois to spend time with family over Memorial Day. On Saturday, we drove to Angela's apartment in Cape Girardeau, MO and went to a "zoo" right down the road from her place. The "zoo" had a lot of very exotic animals. Brittany loved feeding many of the animals. The baby camel below was making quite a bit of noise which scared Eden. She stayed out of the barn from that point on. This was as close as Eden got to the petting corral.

This giraffe was one of the exotic animals at this "zoo".

Happy Birthday Jack!

Our nephew Jack turned 4 on May 18. His baseball cupcakes were delicious!

Tulip Time

Eden's Grandma Sue made her an adorable Dutch costume 2 years ago. Because of weather and other circumstances, we were unable to make it to a Tulip Time parade until this year. Luckily, her costume still fit her! We met Eden's cousins Zach, Kenzie, and Ethan for lunch at Russ' and then watched some of the Tulip Time parade. As you can see from the pictures below, Eden was not in the mood to pose for a picture with her cousins. However, she absolutely LOVED the parade.

Happy Birthday Kenzie!

Our niece Kenzie turned 5 on May 6. She had a princess-themed party and Eden loved helping pulling the strings on the pinata. Of course, Sue made an adorable, delicious cake!

Easter

This was the best shot I could get of Eden in her Easter dress. No...that's not a bruise on her cheek, it's her stamp from the Easter Egg Hunt we went to the day before. Even with no smile, I still think she's pretty cute!
